No its not that the country so loved the inarticulate charlatan from Chicago that we all got a Chris Mathew style chill running down our legs. The main reason the Manchild was elected is that the country had no other real choice. I wrote at the time that I would rather see the democrats in the White House and fight on one front rather than have McCain in there and get stabbed in the back at every turn.
Yesterday reminded me again how right I was. While we are busy fighting the White House communists with our tea parties leading Republicans can’t waste a single opportunity to wallow in liberal mire.
On Sunday, former CIA chief, Michael Hayden, sounded the alarm that Obamas’ s gratuitous release of Bush-era memos regarding interrogation techniques saying that “What we have described for our enemies in the midst of a war are the outer limits that any American would ever go to in terms of interrogating an al Qaeda terrorist. That’s very valuable information.” More to the point four other former CIA directors, including the current one, Leon Paneatta agrees with him. But hey the politicians know better! You can bet your bottom dollar that as we speak AlQaida is conducting interrogation resistance courses with Mohamed Kaboom teaching their new terrorist recruits just how far we will go and how to resist. It makes one wonder if the Democrats and a good part of the Republican party really want to win this war or if they are waiting for another “crisis” which to turn into an “opportunity”
Of course we expect democrats to get all pissy about this, after all if we eliminate terrorists where will the dems get their talking points? But you know what else we should expect by now? We should also expect the McClame wing of the Republican party to join in and get their panties in bunch in sympathy with the libs. To wit Republican Senator Lindsey Grahmnesty, leading McCain boy toy, he of the “thank you Senator Kennedy, thank you, thank you” fame has chimed in telling us that the techniques “create more terrorists.” Lets get this straight, if terrorists know that our interrogations will not actually harm them there will be more terrorists signing up to kill Americans.
So we get a double whammy, now the terrorist know how lame the worst of our interrogation procedures truly are and now they know that we can’t even do that any longer!
Oh boy I tell you they are shaking in their Burkhas form Damascus to the Gaza Strip.
