Just days after he talked with Donald Trump about an upcoming “big announcement” Ted Cruz took the opportunity of a closed door meeting with his special interest donors to stab  Trump in back.

Reuters reports that Cruz tried to hide his ad hominem attacks on Trump’s “judgemet” but that recordings of the betrayal made their way to the New York Times:

“Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button? Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment,” Cruz said, according to the audio. “And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them.”

There are two things that we we should consider here. For starters this gives us a glimpse into Ted Cruz’s lack of character, whereby on one hand in public he gives the appearance and assurance of building some sort of alliance with #Trump, but in public he wastes no time betraying that trust to please his special interest donors.  Haven’t we had enough of career politicians like Ted Cruz who promise one thing in public and then betray everyone in secret deals?

Second we have to note that neither Rush Limbaugh nor Mark “NEOCON” Levine had anything to say about these cowardly attacks perpetrated by Ted Cruz against Donald Trump but both of them had pre-planned and coordinated apoplectic fits when Trump defended himself.
