Karma, a righteous Lord, yin and yang – however you like to think of order in the universe – we’ve seen a bit of re-balancing this week. First, the day before Obama’s one year anniversary in office, Scott Brown, a conservative, is elected to the U.S. Senate formerly occupied by Teddy Kennedy (for nearly 50 years!!!), the Senate’s “champion” of healthcare “reform”. That reform now appears dead because Brown has taken away the Democrat’s filibuster proof majority.
Second, remember Al Franken? He’s the deranged clown who was elected to the Senate last year in a highly contested election in Minnesota. Franken represented the Democrats’ 60th vote. Well, Franken was also one of the founders of the liberal talk radio experiment called Air America. On Thursday, Air America finally went silent and is filing for liquidation under chapter 7 bankruptcy- what a pleasant coincidence.
Ahhh. It’s good to be right.
