He is not a limp wrist Scott Brown RINO. His rhetoric is sound and strong and would be welcomed with thunderous applause at any Tea Party in the nation and in one fell swoop he not only exposed the liberal propaganda for the lie that it is, but he also dealt what should be a mortal blow to the Establishment Republican Neocon doctrine, as well as the Ron Paul type of fringe libertarianism.
That Obama and his liberalism got trounced is self evident and Bob Turner campaigned on just that – trounce Obama and trounce liberalism! So let’s move past that and dive right in and see how Bob Turner exposed the establishment Republican strategy, as championed by john McLaim, Ghramnesty, McConnell and Boehner, for the ridiculous appeasement that it is.
The first sentence of the Turner victory speech was not some silly conciliatory gesture but rather a full frontal attack on the Obama policies “We’ve been asked by the people of this district to send a message to Washington … Mr. President we’re on the wrong track , we’ve had it with your irresponsible fiscal policy… we’ve had it with your treatment of Israel.”
There was none of the McCain like sniveling to cross party lines and sip bellinis with Michelle and Barry. No invitation to a round of Golf with the Obama and his stammering idiot side kick. And no bellying up to Mitch McConnell’s machinations to continue the status quo while pretending that we are doing something about it.
“We lit one candle tonight and soon it will be a bonfire” added Turner. And yes he could’ ve easily fallen back into a whiny “we are only one half of one third of blah blah blah,” but he didn’t . He told the world that we had enough of this mindless criminal liberalism and we are ready to throw it into the bonfire then collect the ashes and throw that “into the trash heap of history” where it belongs along with its sister left-wing experiment, communism.
The Neocons who still cower in fear of the Obamunists and insist that we have to compromise and “work with” those who would make serfs of our children and want to make us slaves by forcing us to pay to be alive in America , should take notice. If the American people were able to send a true conservative to Washington in one of the most liberal districts in the nation. what do you think we’ll do to RINOS in primaries?
And last, because that’s where it belongs, the Ron Paul demented foreign policy and Apologize for America Tour has also been exposed as the border line insanity that it is.
To listen to Ron Paul supporters, the only way for Republicans to convert liberals to our cause is to agree with them, as Ron Paul does, that America is the root of all evil on the planet and to also agree with that faction of liberals that if Israel was wiped off the face of the map, then paradise would spring up all over the universe.
Bob Turner did none of that and he doesn’t have to succumb to any of that. Americans are genetically hard wired to detect bullshit, and to understand the good common sense that is the foundation of our Christian values and heritage.
Perhaps the neocns and the Ronnets don’t get it. They don’t have to. It’s an American thing.
